Max Klub Jazz Festival is a festival that has been revived in the year 2012 after 10 years of absence, and set a basis for cultural renaissance of jazz scene in Velenje. Jazz enthusiasts will be able to witness interesting musical acts in five more shows.
Five more concerts are scheduled for the programme of Jazz Festival organised by a renown Slovenian saxophonist Jure Pukl. Two Wednesdays, two Thursdays and a final night on Friday will lighten up the Velenje music scene with a help from domestic and foreign musicians.

Jure Pukl will perform with one of the most notable names of Slovenian jazz scene, guitarist Primož Grašič, accompanied by a pianist Renato Chicco, and a drummer Howard Curtis, this Wednesday, March 14 at 8.30 pm. Serbian – Slovenian collaboration in the project Vid Jamnik Quartet Featuring Mirna Bogdanović will follow the next day at the same time. Next week are Kaja Draksler’s Bad Boosh Band on Wednesday and Jaka Kopač – Igor Matkovič Project on Thursday. Primož Grašič returns on the final night for some blues play-out with Mike Sponza Band, on Friday, March 23.
